The most stupid rule in the world

Well guys, I bet nobody can beat this... There is a nice institute of a "sandwich leave" here, in Lovely Professional University. Sounds interesting, right? (-: Just to be clear in understanding, there is only one day weekend here - Sunday. So, if you want to go somewhere, you take TWO days off - Saturday and Monday. Though, this is counted as THREE days leave, according to the sandwich leave rule. What do you think about it, nice, isn't it?

I tried to talk to couple of administration officors, they all said they fully understand my frustration, yet they cannot do anything about it. Sandwich rule is stronger...
